KPMG WOMEN'S IRISH OPEN - Carton House - August 29th - September 1st
Play in Pink has been the proud Charity Partner for the KPMG Women’s Irish Open for the last two years at Dromoland Castle and this has continued in 2024 at Carton House.
The event takes place from August 29th – September 1st and there will be an array of opportunities for people to interact with the Play in Pink Campaign during the event with a promotional stand, numerous interactive experiences, a Play in Pink hole on the course and of course our traditional collections and promotional items for sale.
Miriam Hand, National Co_Ordinator for Play in Pink commented, “The partnership with the KPMG Women’s Irish Open is fantastic and it really puts our Play in Pink days in the spotlight. Having a Dress in Pink day on the Friday of the event is amazing as well and seeing everyone arriving to the course in pink, including the players, is a huge statement of support for the charity.
“We wouldn’t be able to support the research team without partnerships like this and also the continued involvement of our dedicated volunteers and they will be out in force again at Carton House with new Play in Pink initiatives that we hope everyone will enjoy.”

Golf Ireland have been strong supporters of Play in Pink for the last number of years and they continue to be a great partner for the charity. Without their help and that of the clubs who participate each year we wouldn’t be able to support the research the way we do.

Play in Pink have had a fantastic relationship with the market leading Irish Golfer Magazine & IrishGolfer.ie for the last number of years and they’ve been a super supporter of our Play in Pink days. AMGEN (formerly Horizon) have a strong connection to golf as sponsors of the Irish Open and also the Women’s Irish Open for the last number of years.
AMGEN also came on board as a corporate partner for Play in Pink at the KPMG Women’s Irish Open in 2023, sponsoring signage and badges which were sold and distributed to raise much needed funds for the charity.
